Substantial Contract Win by Associate Company

Eddie Stobart plc has been notified by its 49% indirectly owned associate GreenWhiteStar Acquisitions Limited (“GWSA”) that it has published the following statement on its website.

Eddie Stobart Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of GWSA, announces that it has been appointed by Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC (“Morrisons”) to provide transportation services from two distribution centres.  This contract is additional to the work that Eddie Stobart currently carries out on behalf of Morrisons.

The new three year contract will see Eddie Stobart manage all transport planning and deliveries of chilled and ambient groceries from the two locations to Morrisons’ network of supermarkets.
